Invited talk at the SelectBIO conference “Point-of-Care, Biosensors and Rapid Dx Europe 2024”: ImmUniverse partner AIT delivered a presentation

Bringing together key leaders from both academia and industry, this annual conference took place in Rotterdam on June 24th and 25th. ImmUniverse partner Lucia Ciglar from the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) delivered a presentation on multi-omics approaches for biomarker development from both tissue and cell-free body fluids, with a particular focus on the utilization of EV-derived miRNA profiling.

Lucia introduced the extensive multi-omics technology workflows developed by AIT, highlighting their power in biomarker discovery and opening up exciting opportunities for ImmUniverse to advance precision medicine. The innovative methods presented not only demonstrated enhanced sensitivity in identifying complex disease biomarkers but also underscored the significant potential of integrating multi-omics into clinical applications for more personalized and effective treatment strategies.
